Contact NSI, you'll probably need a copy of her death cert and they'll tell you if it's valid and has any unclaimed prizes logged. These things are dated 1955 & I have no idea what they are & wether to just bin them or not .
Anybody any idea please
They are premium bonds
"After a Premium Bond holder dies, the executor of the estate is able to cash the investment or ask for it to remain in its holdings.
For the first 12 months, if the Premium Bonds are not cashed, they are entered in the prize draw as normal. Any prizes won can be claimed by a nominated person or the executor of the estate. The bonds cannot be transferred to another person so will remain in the name of the deceased.
National Savings & Investments should be notified of the death of the bondholder as soon as possible. That way, the correct person can be notified if the bonds are picked out of the ballot.
The executor will need to fill in a claims form and submit a registrar’s copy of the death certificate. NS&I will not accept a photocopy. The will must also be included with the form, or a photocopy certified by a solicitor. The 12-month holding period starts from the date of death on the death certificate."

I hope it won him some good prizes over the years, because when he bought it, that was the equivalent of north of £500.
