Does anyone know where i can get the above as i have a slight kerb damage on one alloy which can easily be repaired/refurbed but will look odd against the others without the TVR decal.
Asked the dealer but he said it wasnt possible to get them because the wheel manufacture puts them on before they are shipped to TVR, but im sure if the dealer or TVR were prepared to make some enquiries they shouldnt be too difficult to get hold of.

After all £40 looks better than 260 quid for a new alloy

My dealer got me a set of centres with the decal on for my old Tusc so cant think it would be too difficult. Maybe they just cant be bothered.

its not the centre its the logo thats on one off the wheel spokes i need.
If they get resprayed you'll lose the tvr logo on the one spoke and therefore it will look odd compared to the rest. hope this clarifies

I know this probably isn't what your after and won't help but if you want them all the same they'll come off the other wheels with a bit of t-cut.

Ooooops must remember to read thread properly.
I lost a logo when my old car had to be trailered and the wheel strap just rubbed it off. I also had no luck in getting a new one. I presume as it comes off so easily it is just a transfer!!!

Yes TVR sell them. The wheels have them painted on originally but if you have your wheels refurbished TVR Stores will provide a transfer version. I'm not sure how robust they will be though.

If its the small decal on the wheel spoke, then they are chemically etched at the manufactures.. The are not upto standard in some cases and even a strong power wash can erase them away. The replacement deals that you refer to are of a slightly larger size and some say - look naff

I would have thought you could make a template by tracing round the logo on one of the existing wheels. Then transfer that to card and have the wheel refurbishers spray through the template with an anthractite colour before the laquer is put on.

That way you get the logo and it won't rub off either!

Ive have had my wheels repaired twice in the past and they just masked up the logo and sprayed around it. That worked just fine.

I had Castle TVR refurb both of my front's during it's last service. They applied what looks like a clear sticky with the logo on. Up close it does look a little naff but from 6 feet it's not noticeable unless you've got a lot of muck around the edges.

Hi Nick

I had exactly the same problem a couple of years ago.

I commissioned some "letraset" decals copied from a logo and modified to match. Its a bit fiddily and normally takes 2 goes to get it right on the spoke, just rub it on, and cover with 2 coats of laquer over it, and good as new.

Still got around 80 or so left - if you want a few e-mail me through my profile with contact details.

Ben - have exactly the same issue of losing the emblems on my Tuscan further to re-painting front alloys. Cannot see your profile e-mail option but am very interested in obtaining a few of your letra-sets as they sound just the ticket! Many thanks in advance.

Bugger! I've just had all four wheels repainted, and lost the logos. Ben, can you e-mail me as I would also be interested in getting the transfers, as I'm having one wheel refurbed (again!!) at Metal Magic in Barnsley (bloody good they are too - thoroughly recommended!)

(Light smoked chrome....)

Hi Ben,

I could really do with some too as I may be having 4 wheels re-sprayed in the next couple of weeks.

Maybe you could get some more done and sell them to PH’ers – there certainly seems to be a demand!

Thanks,

TSS

PS Can’t email you through your profile as there’s not email link on it.
