Could it not extend to Griffs as well? I've been planning some mods to mine and was hoping to attend Vmax again to see how it gets on. As you point out though, it is very popular so in theory what you're suggesting is a very good idea. It'd be interesting to see how the RV8 TVR's stack up against the Jap motors too.

How about it being open to any TVR model then? That should certainly guarantee enough numbers to make the event a success and would also give an interesting comparison of how they all compare to the various Jap machinery.

I no these TVR's are a bit fragile but there must a few brave enough to give there pride and joy a bit of a day out to stretch her (i suppose i should say his/hers in these days of political correctness gone mad) legs and LEGALLY come on people the gauntlet has been thrown down.

Never had to wear a helmet at Bruntingthorpe when been there in my own car. To be honest, unless you drive like an absolute idiot there's very little chance of hitting anything. If, as I understand, the idea is to run a similar format to VMax, then two cars are set off at a time with a nice wide gap inbetween them so very little chance of getting close to another car. This also minimises the risk of stone chips.

I'd be up for it if its open to griffs as well but not until I've hopefully got it putting out over 300bhp. That's not likely to be until the end of the year though unfortunately.

That's allright by me. Like I said earlier, if I can come it won't be until I've added a few bits to the Griff anyway. Would be keen to come though definitely.

Actually your right ish but i cant quite remember what TVR'S LOOK LIKE, AS THEY LOOK VERY STRANGE IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR, still maybe we can set the records straight if you CAN! i look forward to the challenge.
