Worth going without grandstand tickets do you think?

Im in Melbourne and have nothing planned but have never been to a MotoGP race before

It would be rude not to if you're only in Melbourne.

Don't think grandstand seat is really required. I went 10 years ago and you'll be surprised at how "club race" it all feels - you sit on a grass bank or lean on wire fence and watch the chaps do their stuff.

Don’t get grandstands, not worth it. You can walk around the whole place, get close to the track on race day.

Awesome place, like Caldwell on steroids, a lot of steroids. Go to Siberia and watch them light up the rear....

I’m so jealous, we were there 4yrs ago this weekend for MotoGP.

I watched WSBK there in 2001. Anyone who had a race day ticket could do a free track day there on the Monday. Siberia is the place to be.

I am hoping to do a trackday there later in the year, and one thing I have found is Melbourne is not short of tracks!
