Hello

Does the 3 series touring 14/15 plate have space under the boot for a space saver spare wheel? Considering buying one and this would be a definite plus. Seen some pics of the wheel tied down in the boot itself, which is not what I'm aftee

Cheers

There's more space IN the boot on the F31 3 series than the previous E91
I had a space saver in mine (E91). On the boot floor, there was no room for much else. Sat vertically against the back seat, there was no way to safely secure it. Ended up with it vertical against the side of the boot, and used ratchet straps to secure it. This left room for the dog in the boot......but with the wheel there, I couldn't fit the standard cargo net/dog catcher, so had to buy a proper dog guard too.
Space efficient they are not!

Agreed, no chance of me keeping it in the boot like that. I've decided to go down the Mazda 6 estate route, it can fit a spare wheel under the boot floor

Shame OP, but the last 3 Series Touring that would take a space-saver under the boot floor was the E46 that was discontinued in 2005!

I've got an 06 E91 3 Series Touring which won't take one either, but I'm still running it on run-flats so don't need one! laugh
