Guys I know I can advertise, but just an idea really, should I sell it? It’s not been on the road for 20 years it’s done 23k. It’s not original paint, but I guess it would need a bit of paint anyway .
Iam told the 720 conversion it has was an option , but not sure, it has the bigger carbs etc.
It has been in the garage for the 20 years and although it has not been run, I kick it over every now and then .

Sell it for bits, they just aren't in demand like Z1's.

If it's stood and not been used for 20yrs then it's unlikely to be used anytime soon either. So selling it seems sensible.

Is it a Z650B or C or perhaps the last of them that shared a lot of parts with the Z750E ?

What colour was it before the non std paint. What exhausts. What carbs. Still got the airbox or not. Single or double discs. Spoke or Alloy wheels etc

Z650 is not a bad little bike. 720 adds no real value as the Zephyr 750 engine drops straight in.

Nice pictures and descriptions will have it sold tout suite.

There is some demand for them, but they don't fetch much money.

If you're not going to fix it up, why not pass it on.

Feel free to u2u , I'm looking for a winter project.

If its complete regardless of condition its worth saving. Most of them got some kind of cafe racer treatment and few stock bikes still exist. I've been offered very close to £10k for my one owner stock B1, but if thats 'very little' to you then break it for spares but you won't get anywhere near £4k for it and all the hassle is free. I've restored over 20 650's over the years and they've all made good money which is rising quite quickly as its bigger brother becomes beyond most peoples reach.

To know for sure pm me the engine and frame number.
Why not restore it yourself? Or if you do decide to out it I'll have first dibs on the grab rails please.
As it stands its probably worth £700 quid as a non runner project.

I think that's not far off. In fact, where are you? I'd probably buy it for that if you were interested.

Damn, found this too late - could the OP let me know if others drop out?

I had a blue 1978 Z650C3 back in 1980 and loved that bike!

There you go, that looks like it could've started life as a c3
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-Z650-1980-NO-R...

The op's bike is not really for me so if you guys are serious feel free to fill your boots. I've got more projects than enough for now. Still would like the grab rails if they are spare though.
This winters build is a z1100 elr which will keep me busy trying to find the missing parts for.

Damn. Other end of the country from me. Probably for the best. I'm running out of room!
