So I’ve slept over at the girlfriends a few times and she’s been complaining that I snore there when I don’t snore at my house, never been told this.

The past 3 times I have stayed over, I’ve been told I snore, 2 of those times, we had a few drinks and the other time, I was really tired after a long day of travelling.

I’ve googled this and there’s no information about people snoring at different places.

I narrowed it down to alcohol and tiredness but my bedroom at home is right next to my parents, I sleep with the door open and I’ve never been told I snore, neither have previous girlfriends.

Any information on this and how to stop it??

Thanks in advance

Could be down to different pillows possibly. Also have you asked your parents if you snore or are just taking it that you don't as they haven't said anything ?

Well they haven’t but my ex before never said so so I presume they haven’t told me because I don’t. I’ll ask them later just in case!

is her mattress/pillow etc much softer than what you'd usually use?

You just snore. Even at home. It may not be loud so your parents won't hear as there not next to your mouth. Just upgrade to a non moaning girlfriend before it's too late....

Is she sitting on your face too heavily?
Tell her to take some of the weight on her knees.

Wife says the more tired and or drunk I am the worse my snoring gets. I do snore normally but not loudly according to the wife, however add in either of the first two conditions and she has considered smothering me with a pillow!

I snore badly when I've had a drink; red wine makes it even worse, I also think I'm mildly aergic to my dogs, as I'm always a bit bunged up when in the house; I don't think that helps either.

When the wife has had friends round and I go up early, they can hear me when in the lounge.

Funny thing yesterday, we were in a minivan on the way back from a day out, the Thai guy next to me started snoring really loudly, a Thai sat infront of him got agitated by it, moved his arm back and slapped his thigh quite hard, waking him up; he glared at me thinking I'd done it!

Could well be a case of different mattress and pillows.

I've just started staying over at my new girlfriend's place.

Rock hard mattress and pillows no thicker than a tea towel.

She says I toss and turn and keep waking up thus waking her up. Not surprising.

How can anyone sleep without a decent pillow?

Next time I'm bringing my own smile
