£5k family runabout needed

I'm looking for a second car to be my main transport to work and for doing school runs. Budget of around £5k, ideally something 2010 or later and under 100,000 miles. I'd like to have a reasonable amount of space so have been looking at things from Golf size and above. I don't want anything too feeble so around 140+ bhp.

So far the model that seems to fit the bill closest is the Mazda 6; this one looks pretty nice but I'm a bit put off by the 'trade seller, mobile number only' thing:

I'm rubbish at haggling but can anyone suggest how much I'd get away with offering for these? Any other models that I should be looking at?
