Refurbished pedal box and servo ready to go back in however managed to round off a couple of the old brake pipe fittings from the servo to the footwell block. Anybody know if the 3 pipes are available off the shelf or do they have to be made up?

Was going to get flexible pipes from pirtek however their fittings are too big to fit inside the wing.

Any help appreciated.

Take the pipes and their end fittings to a local small garage and they will make up new ones.
I doubt there will be anything 'off the shelf'.

Hi Dungman, I am thinking of taking the pedal box out of my 93'. Do you have any tips / advice that could help me in this process?
Cheers
Simon

I removed the seat and the steering column for access, although I know several have now done this with them still in place. I wanted to replace the plastic bearing at the bottom of the column anyway so made sense to do it this way.

I unscrewed the adjustable part of the brake and clutch pedal and removed the accelerator pedal completely.

Once all fluid drained I unscrewed the 4 pipes from the block below the steering wheel. The brake reservoir pops out from the master cylinder.

The vacuum hose to the servo pops off from the hole in the inner wing, and the bonnet release cable has to be removed and fed back through the pedal box.

THere are 4 bolts in the top of the inner wing and 2 in the wheel arch holding the pedal box. Once removed the whole unit comes out in one. One man job to remove but I needed a helping hand to take the weight when refitting.

Hope that helps.
