The "what fitness-related bits have you just bought" thread
Discussion
Hoping this will catch on in the similar way the cycling forum as done their 'what bike bits have you bought' thread.
It can be anything related to health/fitness/gym/exercise.such as exercise equipment, clothing, footwear, kit, accessories, nutrition. The purpose is to show what recent things you've bought, maybe you might give an opinion on it, or someone might be interested and ask you about it. Perhaps you might have spotted a deal or bought something useful that someone might never have heard of, you get the idea.

Several of the above Under Armour T’s . . . . I have too many.
Also need to buy a new lock as someone very cheekily broke in to my gym locker earlier today!!
See other thread.

Picked up a cheap pair of wireless Mpow earphones for around £22. Can't get them to fit right in the ear and just keep falling out at the slightest movement...that and it lets in so much of the outside noise as well that you can't actually hearing the music. Even sat on the bench, they just slide out...
Tempted to treat myself to some Airpods but terrified of spending £160 on them and they also fall out, never had problems with any other earphones.

Which ones?Tempted to treat myself to some Airpods but terrified of spending £160 on them and they also fall out, never had problems with any other earphones.
I had some yellow ones with a thick wire connecting the 2 ear pieces which I never got on with. One or both were continually falling out or needing adjustment. Just got some later mpow ones with a thick flexible blue band between them which are far better. Literally no issues at all.

One of these to go on one of these. We bought the bike at the start of the month, then realised it needed a drinks holder.
Never knew that Concept made a bike trainer!I bought a Tacx Neo a couple of days ago - only had the one ride so far, but already very impressed with it. Streets ahead of the Vortex it replaced.
Also sampling the delights of Zwift on a 7 day trial and that's quite a revelation!
Can see me walking around on very tired legs this winter!!!

one of these for aiding with pistol squats, raising my feet doing inverted rows etc.

I bought some AirPods last month. Use them from gym and running (up to 30k) and they have yet to fall out- I think they are the best thing Apple makes at the minute. I bought a Powerball cheap on EBay. It was sans string, but I made my own special starter string
....with a piece of string and a little sellotape.
It was easy to get going and I got the hang of accelerating with the rotary motion straight away. First impressions are that it appears to work the forearms quite effectively. I've got a fairly decent grip from other training, it will be interesting to see if it makes a difference.

has anyone got any suggestions for a large water bottle? I'm talking something that's about 1-1.5 litres in size. the Myprotein water bottles are the kind i'm looking for however it has many bad reviews, with people saying the bottle just shatters if dropped from waist height when full up with water. I don't need any fancy sippy attachments on it, just a normal screw top.

NalgeneThanks for the suggestion. I was going to buy this from sports direct today but unfortinately they didn't have it. I did end up buying the karrimor tritan though, half price at £5.

I'm yet to use the bottle as I just bought it today. But it feels strong, it's design is almost the same as the nalgene one, it even includes a pouring attachment due to it's wide opening.
It was a hard time deciding which one to buy as they all looked so great, ended up getting the black one.
Now just need to find myself a decent backpack usable for the gym that's large enough to put work clothes + a coat. and a seperate compartment for wet/sweaty stuff.

Unless you need to carry it far or run with it on your back I would suggest a holdall (or messenger bag) with a big opening rather than an expedition backpack which you need to stuff things into.https://www.sportsdirect.com/karrimor-tritan-bottl...
