I've got £1k / month that I'm looking to save/invest.

I'm happy to take a punt at higher risk investment accepting that by nature it may lead to losses.

Any thoughts on where I should look to put the cash?

Ps this is extra to ISA savings etc

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

If you are already maxing out your ISA, assuming it’s an S&S one, then the next tax efficient routes are pension and EIS. Probably worth maxing pension as well first.

If you are maxing a cash ISA that’s probably overly conservative and you could look to take a bit of extra risk in that wrapper.

Similar here, it seems that most dont want your money....

Best I could find was First Direct - change to their Current account and gain access to a 5% savings account

Lloyds - switch to Club Lloyds and gain access to a 12 month 3% deal.

Most 5 year ISA's are sub 2.1% when I looked...

Just open a general investment account with someone like Hargreaves Lansdown and you can invest in the same funds as you fo with your ISA and use your capital gain tax allowance to easily cover your capital gains and your annual dividend allowance to cover any income.
