Maybe the next headline will be:

"Sales of cordless angle grinders spike in North Wales" laugh

Sad really. Still, I think there are plenty of places to stop and take nice photos of your car along the way aren't there? I guess it depends how far apart they put the cameras.

Or perhaps the Welsh government should spend the money on more useful projects. Don't they always go on about how much money the NHS needs, how many schools they can fund etc etc.

Daft priorities.

I wonder what number they'll pluck out of thin air to set the cameras to...

500,000 could fund a dedicated traffic car - 10 hours a day for a couple of years which might have been a better approach.

I envisage lots of people going for a blast round with strangely missing number plates that will suddenly get re-attached at tour end.

Any road that is widely known is never going to be a good driving road, it will busy or policed. Let's keep local secret just that and enjoy them discreetly.

I never thought it was all that awesome to be honest. I’m. Ore bothered by how ugly the average speed cameras are. They dominate the sky line and are out of character in an area of our]tstanding beauty.

No, no. They are safety cameras, not speed cameras. Safety trumps everything!

To be fair, loads of accidents on that road.

It's abused by too many people.

Don't like the outcome but it is hardly a surprise.

"there are gaming companies which are also doing versions of this within their games in order to encourage people to visit" (from the article). No clue which game has this road in it. Possibly talking about Forza Horizon 4 being in the UK? Still completely uniformed.

But hey ho it's house hold name attracted retards to try and hoon on it. Not surprised.
