T5 Gearbox rebuild advise

Hi all

Does anyone have any experience of T5 gearbox rebuilds. Mine is out and in need of a very illusive main shaft and i'm getting nowhere fast. I had a dreadful engine rebuild experience some years ago and I'm desperate to avoid the same with the G/box. If your able to help with either positive or negative reports id be most grateful for any input. PM me if you'd rather not give an opinion on the forum (PH Rules).

They should be able to source you a mainshaft for him between £250–£300.

They are in the US so postage and import duty might be costly but they might have the part if UK rebuilders can't help

The main shaft is no longer available.

The gearbox man has some in stock.

Paul Cangialosi is your man , you will have to wait however he is in the states, dealt with him twice all good
