Unfortunately I need one !

The doctor that visited the care home, whom I believe is automatically “your” doctor, is on holiday for two weeks and we have been told nobody else can sign it ?

Can anybody else sign it, 6th November is when he is back !

Thanks

Del

1. Patients own Doctor
2. Any Doctor who saw the patient in their last illness and is happy to sign to say they know the cause of death
3. Failing that the Coroner will sign a certificate, but usually (not always) after a post mortem.

Depends on the context and what involvement the other GPs at the practice have had in the case (if any) tbh.

Indeed. The coroner wants to avoid a formal referral for post mortem unless absolutely necessary.
