Megane clutch bleeding

Trying to bleed the clutch on the Megane, read online it can be a pig or a piece of piiss.,the latter for me.
I read fully how to do it, but can't get a good pedal, it's still nearly on the floor still after a full litre of fluid through it? Plenty air coming out, then the bubbles get less and less to the point i think it will be fine, misses pumping the clutch pedal says it's getting firmer but i go in and test it and pedal isn't coming up anywhere near height of the brake pedal,hardly any resistance in the pedal travel.
Anyone any tips?
