Good choice on the daytona, I sold my 15 675r earlier this year and really miss it for trackdays, such good bikes.

I bought an old K1 600 a month or so ago just to get a couple of days in this year with some buddies, but now want something a little nicer and a bit more grunt for the larger gent;) without going down the 1000 route.

I’m really gutted as I missed out on a great spec Daytona about 10 mins from where I livefrown

You'd be better off joining one of the UK Trackday groups on Faceache ... or the NoLimits group on there ....

K4 and 5 are the same so don't limit just on the 5.

Should get a really good one with lots of spares for that budget.

I have a K5 that I was debating selling in the spring. Lots of track orientated bits with receipts for approx £5k in a folder. Maybe a little further than hoped (Bedfordshire) but she might be worth it. Still fully road legal and MOT'd til March ish. The only difference between this and a full track bike is the change of bodywork etc. Spare rims, wet tyres etc..
