Don't get me wrong. We live in wedded bliss. But nobody is perfect. With me it's a long list, but briefly I would include snoring, not doing what I said I would do, saying I will do something but not doing it immediately, giving the kids unhealthy food, smelly bed pillows (due to me having no hair therfore more head sweat), saying non PC things to the kids that I probably shouldn't, stinking the bathroom when I've had a crap. The list is endless. Am I just a normal husband? What about you?

My mrs gets the hump with me cleaning, both the house and cars.

Not because I don’t do it properly or often, just because I do it. It’s not like she has any interest in doing it herself so it truly baffles me.

It's not just what I say, it's the way I say things.

I've just cooked a beautiful dinner of pork tenderloin in a cream/brandy sauce with some really good sauteed potatoes, a mix fo broccoli & petits pois for nutrutional value.
I managed to spill a few drops of water on the kitchen floor after washing it all up. And there was no cabbage. She likes cabbage.

Snoring, being untidy, long road trips (2000 miles this summer in the TR4) in old cars she considers to be death traps ...

Picking my teeth after eating meat. Puting on the same Jersey as I had on yesterday. Being noisy when I go to bed. Sitting at the computer trying to sort out a problem when I should be doing something more important.

...in which the scale of importance has never been explained, and if ever was, would instantly be replaced by something even more incomprehensible.

Chewing crunchy chocolates instead of sucking them quietly.
Quietly sucking chocolates instead of just chewing them.

Apparently when I eat crisps, it’s in a regular rhythm:
Rustle/retrieve crisp
Crunch crunch crunch crunch
Repeat.

I’m told that this rhythm is enough to drive a pacifist to murder.

I do eat healthy food too but I’ve never faced the threat of death for it.
