2017 Guilia - Oil change warning light

My 2017 2.0 Litre Petrol Guilia's Change Oil warning light has just come on. The car has done 8,894 miles but only 2,959 since its first service on 13 Feb 2018 when the oil and filter were changed (according to the service book). The car has been driven carefully, no track days etc. and the car doesn't use oil.

This seems strange - did the oil change happen? If so what oil was used? Is the warning light faulty?
Has anyone experienced this before with their Guilia?

Its going to the dealer in a couple of weeks but I thought I'd ask beforehand.

Sounds like the dealer forgot to reset the computer.

Indeed. Or didn’t change the oil. SNAFU for most Alfa dealers unfortunately
