Advice / Opinion on 65” TV

Hi,

I’m looking at buying a budget 65” TV as an alternative to using my Cinema Room, TV will be located in a 7.5 Metre Square Room on the Wall

The two options I’m looking at are:

Hitachi 65HL6T64U @ £799.99
Hisense H65A6250UK @ £699.99

Any advice on these two would be appreciated

Without even looking at the Hitachi (which will be a Vestel under a different name) I'd be going for the Hisense. It's getting some decent reviews and as a brand they seem to be nailing the 'good budget,' segment of the market. I'd check out the Amazon reviews of the A6200 in case any of the issues raised would affect you though and buy through RS/JL for their customer service if something goes wrong or you're not happy.


I've got absolutely no need for one as a second TV but I've found myself trying to justify one (50 or 55") as a second set.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't discounted a bit too come Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
