Why is it weird to wear mittens when you've over the age of 6?

ANSWER ME THAT.

That doesn't really answer the question. That pretty much just repeats what I said but, you know, worse.

Its only weird if you have the string that connects them though your sleeves.

No, no string. Just mittens. 100% pure, unadulterated, hot mitten action.

Call them 'mitts', instead of mittens, and a lot of the problem goes away.

No need for mittens after the age of 6 as you're capable of wearing gloves without possible damage to the tiny bones in your fingers when putting them on. It's also much easier for a parent to put mittens on a child than it is to put gloves on them.

Mittens are for children, that's why it's weird to wear them as an adult. Like wearing a nappy or walking round with a dummy in your mouth.

I wear mitts when snowboarding, as I don't need much dexterity and keep my hands warmer than gloves. Although around and about the UK it's normal gloves

The hypothetical ones can be whatever you want them to be. I personally don't own mittens.

There isn't a specific rule that says you shouldn't stick an Action Man up your arse, but it's just one of those things you don't do.

Like wearing mittens.

Mittens are significantly better at keeping your hands warm. If warmth is more important than dexterity, then mittens are the sensible choice.
