Getting Audi S6 V10 up to R8 V10 power level?

Does anyone know the main differences between the older Audi S6 V10 engine (429hp I think) and the R8 version which is over 520hp.
mechanically it's the same as the Lambo Gallardo engine as well which can produce even more.
What changes are there between the different engines or is it purely engine management software?

They have different torque bands and max bhp is much later in the R8 so it’s likely to have different valves, camshafts, maybe different rods and crank, intake etc and different mapping to make use of the hardware. Unfortunately I don’t know exactly but I could try and do some digging. I can’t imagine it would be anything more than very expensive to do to try and rebuild to the same level. It’s definitely not just a different map.
