Mine from today

I was trying to emulate this

Tesco have some cheap leg pork 25% off at the moment. Back of the net. What could possibly go wrong?

It turned out like this

The outside bits I peeled off were lovely, orangy and crispy and melt in the mouth. But what worried me was that huge amount of fat between the nice diamond outer bits and the meat, something his posh cut of pig that was free range and died whilst listening to rock ballards via earphones, did not have.

As I pondered this conundrum, how to take off the outer layer and remove the fat whilst then conjoining it to the meaty interior. I gazed outside to see a host of glowing daffadils and also my dog eating something meaty and licking his lips

Bad boy

Last time we had an incident like this was when he decided to be judge on the bake off between my daughter and I baking Victoria sponges. He chose mine wink

I NEVER HAD THE CHANCE TO TASTE IT AND SAY HOW CRAP IT WAS.

Now cooking bread, wish me luck, last time it ended up looking like the president of a well known country

What are you biggest cooking disasters?

Just the usual, burnt food.

And a greyhound "stealing" pork pies.

Chip pan fire back in the early 90's.

Didn't burn the place down or anything but came close. Not cooked chips in a pan and anywhere near a gas flame since. Properly scary experience and I recall the old adverts with damp tea towel probably averting total disaster.
