...or, WWYD?
Since I moved jobs earlier in the year, there's a guy who parks in the same bike bay (on street) as me. I see him most days. Due to particular aspects of his personal appearance, his choice of kit, a comically-noisy can, etc he's very distinctive and you certainly wouldn't mistake him for anyone else.
Every day that he rides up to the parking bay, he has a roll-up on the go. Always. I've vaguely thought this was a bit odd (I don't smoke, but would have thought it would it either go out, or run out, unless he commutes about half a mile? And he spends absolutely ages locking his bike up and covering it every day, so I'm guessing his commute is a bit longer than that) but each to their own.
However, today he parked next to me (he usually picks an isolated spot further up the bay) and as we got ready to set off, he sparked up as usual. At which point it pretty quickly became obvious that his tabs are, well, somewhat Jamaican in nature.
Now I'm nobody's prude, but he's apparently riding around on weed on a daily basis. Riding around on roads I'm riding on. Riding around on roads you or your wife/child might be walking across. Riding along a street which has a primary school on it.
All part of life's rich tapestry which should be embraced for it's cultural values? 101? Crimestoppers? You tell me.

Or maybe just mind your own f
king business?
He's riding a bike to work, not flying an airliner and, from what you say, seems to have managed it on a regular basis without killing himself / little children / puppies and kittens.
And, realistically, don't you think plod are overstretched and underfunded enough without having to deal with your nimbyism?

A little surprised by your response on this issue. I agree about the police having to deal with this sort of stuff when so overstretched, but personally think smoking weed and riding/driving is no different to drink driving. I think the law thinks the same otherwise they wouldn't test for it or have a specific charge

Ah, excellent, a bog-standard PH set of thread responses. Those of you who aren’t fat 40 year old virgins whacking off over your plastic nunchucks in your mother's spare room may have noticed that (a) I posted this in BB and not in SP&L and (b) I asked what you would do, not stated what I was going to do (which so far is nothing).
But thanks for the responses anyway!

My view is as an adult do what you want I really don't give a sh*t. However when someone's chooses to drive or ride on something which negatively influences their ability on the road then they've made it a problem for me in principle. Stoned is no different to pissed I don't want any of those idiots sharing the same road space. But very unlikely for any enforcement to happen.
Main difference is on a bike the guy will likely kill himself or be killed by someone else eventually so seems even more stupid than the tons of brain cells short of a full set car drivers I used to see in London daily on the stuff. Luckily in a car in London you ain't going far or fast.

I don’t understand that. Why is it more likely that he’ll only hurt himself because he’s on a bike?
