outlook express problem

when on the net , mine is tesco.net , and i want to check my emails on outlook express the thing disconects and if when on outlook express i want to send a email it disconnects everytime why is this and can i stop it from disconnecting , system is windows xp with the latest version of outlook express but not using the service pack no2 ....regards ian

Untick the disconnect after send/recieve in the options
