Having a discussion on another forum but wanted to ask here too.
When you buy a new car for instance, do you declare it has metallic paint, privacy glass, floor mats, mud flaps, upgraded radio, alloy wheels, sunroof as options etc? I don’t think so.

If it’s fitted by the factory it’s ‘as supplied from the factory’. I declared my tail tidy on my bike for instance (not interested luckily).

What’s your view?

Unlikely your tail tidy was fitted at the factory. It'll be a dealer accessory/fit.

Yes, I fitted it and declared it.
I’m on about options you spec on a new bike / car.

I would suggest you don't declare anything that is on the original invoice from the dealers (assuming you didn't order the 3rd party turbo add on to be fitted from new!). I had some great fun getting quotes for my last bike when I mentioned the optional extra panniers.
