TVRCC Track Days?
Discussion
Just looked at the TVRCC website to see this years track day dates, hoping to find one August-ish.
The calendar shows Cadwell in May, Zolder in June, Oulton in July, then just the N Ireland dates.
Are there no more this year or is the website just not up-to-date? If not does anyone have a full calendar so I can see what's available?
Only really interested in tvrcc days due to insurance, I know there are loads of other independant track days.

The main problems is that there are not that many people available to organise TVRCC track days, especially down South (the Track Day team are up north I beleive) and the tracks are very expensive to hire from Spring to mid-Autumn. Our RO looked into doing an evening event at Brands Hatch or a day at Lydden, but costs are prohibitive and no-one (understandably) is prepared to take the risk that the break-even point will not be met.
I just did Cadwell and am booked for Oulton Park in July. Can't wait. Decided to skip Castle Combe - not my kind of circuit (I prefer tight, technical circuits).
I do wish the TVRCC did more track days, but there are a lot of companies offering track days now and I think most tracks get fully booked very early in the season. When I was at Cadwell last Friday I asked one of the members of staff how busy it was and she said they were booked every day until October. As we left the TVRCC day there was an evening track day starting. Busy or what!
What we need is more racetracks ...

Well you could always come over to the N. Ireland track days.
We have a demand over here for track days and thankfully we can run these days without the cost factor of the mainland circuits.
This year our first track day was fully booked and we had to actually turn people away which is a first.
Kirkistown may not be the most techinal circuit, but its big fun.
Cheers,

If you're taking that Tuscan racer I'll be looking at your rear all day.
That's the intention...but I'm afraid "I don't play for the other team" so I'd much prefer it if Mrs grougho was coming along & looked @ my rear all day rather than yourself !
If the day is run as like b4 there will be 6 groups of 12, so odds on you'll be in a different group.

It's like Carry on Racing here with all these doubl-entendres.
