Ford / Jaguar 2.0 TDCi - strange injector noise

Any diesel experts who can say what's causing this odd noise?:

Sounds like it's coming from cylinder #3 injector, and can be felt in the high-pressure pipe.

My inexpert opinion is 'it's knackered' - but what exactly?

It sounds a bit like water hammer in a domestic plumbing system. I suspect it's a resonance rather than anything wrong with the injector. If the car drives ok I'd live with it.
