2002 996 C4S Headlights

Does anyone know what LED bulbs I can use on a 2002 C4S? It has standard headlights and I would like to change them to a brighter white LED. When I look at replacements online however (eBay etc) it says none of them fit the car....

There really isn't the room to fit LED bulbs as dipped beam due to the lack of space for the heatsink but 50W HID at 5000K bulbs are plenty bright & white enough. You'll have more luck fitting LED high beams if you go for the ones that have a braided heatsink as these can be poked out of the back of the unit once you've cut a suitable hole for the grommet.

I have this setup in my 996 & it works a treat. It takes a bit of modification of the rear cover of the light unit to get this to work but it's well worth the effort.

ETA: Don't forget to change the sidelight for LED too otherwise it looks pathetically dim once you brighten everything else up
