Saw the following sticker on the back of a car today, just had to take a pic :

It's from Kent Safety Scumera Partnership I think.

I suppose the anti-tailgating thing is worthy, but yet again it comes down to speed. A kind of smug "stuff you, I'm being all safe because I'm going slowly" - surely guaranteed to raise blood pressures?

Or am I seeing anti-car anti-speed messages everywhere these days?

Edited: forgot the thing that incensed me : the idiotic grinning snail. So clearly safe driving is all down to going at a snail's pace?

I need another version - "Ferk off - I'm keeping my speed up!" with a devil's head next to it [not that Monsieur le gendarme would understand it - just on principle].

If you run that sticker through a lentil-english translator, you get:

"Beware, erratic driving with no indications"

You also get "I drive at 40 in NSL's, 40 in 50's, 40 in 40's and bizarrely 40 in 30's..."

Stay tuned.

If that is a serious initiative I'm interested.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

39, surely, so they can sit in 30 zones in third gear saying 'I am not doing 40 mph!'

Aren't they the ones who also do 67mph in the middle lane of the motorway, so lorries can't get past them?

Get that printed POD, if you don't know where, ask Ted where he gets his window stickers done.

I bet you could sell loads

Do you folks know that you can buy sticky backed paper that will go through your printer?

Anything you see on the internet can be turned into stickers in a matter of seconds and for pennies!

Hmm, I'm interested in getting that sticker and just driving as I would normally. e.g. to the conditions around me. It would be great to see the look on peoples faces that you'd overtaken if they could read that sticker. i.e I'm keeping my speed down so you must be driving ridiculously bloody slowly.

Photoshop's great, isn't it?

Clicky
