After many years of different marques from German to Italian with a scattering of American and British, I have just got a B5 RS4. What a brilliant car. Who wouldn't want an iconic car with a Cosworth engine...….I think this is a keeper; though I've said that before.

Any other owners or a register on site?

Colour? Standard/fettled?

Need a bit of love to keep them fighting fit but really iconic things.

Wonder how many of the 400 are left? Take care of it!

Pictures to come once I clean the car after its drive home.

There's a few things which have been done to it. AP Racing brakes, Bilstein suspension, a replacement exhaust (not sure on make - need to check). All the key bits done: cam, water pump etc etc. ca 70k miles. Avus Silver.

No extra performance upgrades so standard output. I did look at a 600bhp one twice the mileage but I just wanted to stay standard.

Wouldn't be surprised if someone had snuck a cheeky map in there with all those little bits wink

I've driven a couple of B5s with big, claimed power outputs and didn't like them as much as standardish cars. Keep it sensible and that's a really nice, tractable engine (still feels old-school turbocharged but in a good way).

I was never brave enough to find the limits of the standard brakes but I think enough people did to make the upgrade quite sensible.

There might just be a "sneaky remap"...….but I wouldn't know...….Just been out to feel what the pick up is like from 50 through to xx and hitting above 5,000 revs - lots of power and it comes on quickly enough but not anywhere near my last "breathed upon - extra horses msevo" 997 turbo. But really good.
