Top speed runs? . . Preferably in the South

Wouldn't mind having the opportunity to see what my b5 S4 can do in a straight line without fearing for my license! . . Anyone know of any top speed runs or anything in the UK worth going along to?

I also quite fancy doing a massive 4wd drift somewhere slim chance but if anyone know's where I might be able to get away with that, that'd be great!

If you want a massive 4wd drift try Car Limits, room to do them at 80mph+ easily.

My brother had a B4 RS4, with an MRC remap, so probably around 410/420 bhp.

We did the VMAX at Bruntingthorpe and posted many runs, all at 167 mph.

Interestingly I've found Goodwood allows higher top speeds than either of those.

I guess Thruxton is faster again but it barely counts as a track day venue with such low noise limits.
