Slightly odd request this
I know clarkson got a volvo for £1 on top gear, but is this possible?
I ask because seven of us are going on a scavenger hunt, in which the cars get nailed, eggs, flour, milk etc. Having spent 2 days last year removing the doors on my car to get the rubbish out of them, i am quite keen to buy a car or 2 cars so that all seven of us can do it in a car we don't care about.

The thinking is either 2 old escorts, cavaliers, corollas, bluebirds etc, or a people carrier.
Requirements are:
Cheap
MOT'd until the 12th june at the earliest, same with tax
got to look nasty (theme is chav)
hopefully not die
cheap
cheap

would also be nice if it went a bit, but not such a problem!

So, my question is, where, within 40 miles of the M4 corridor, and around bristol, can i pick up 2 cars, or a people carrier, for basically sweet FA.
Anyone have a good plan?

Go to kingsgate park auto's or Hintons over at whitchurch - both bristol.

They do police removals, after a set number of weeks they either crush them or give(sell) them.

I bought one once for £10 with an 11 month mot.

All legal and above board.

My brother once bought a car in exchange for a pint once.

Turns out, had he been able to turn back the clock he would have bought the guy 10 pints NOT to buy it!

But hey - we live and learn

Bit of a hijack, But does anyone know of a similar place but around Kent/brands Hatch in a similar raduis. I'm doing up the house and need a wagon to haul timber/platerboards etc from B&Q, lumber yard et all back home. Don't want a new car as it going to be damaged (internally) and it needs to be an estate.

Thanks

Couple of guys on the Ring Road at Seacroft, one leaves them on the grass/road on opposite side of road to the NTL building the others same side but down towards the Wetherby road roundabout. Prices vary from £200 to £3000 depending what they have.
