posted earlier on Chim section - have followed very helpful advice from quite a few people and have established that the pump is knackered - 12v straight onto cleaned connections - nothing! relays etc all checked and fine, engine turns (brand new battery too). question now - how much? I had a quote of £150 plus vat from TVR Gear - dont know what i was expecting but it wasnt north of £100! am going to fit it myself probably so spent 20 mins under the car tonight liberally spraying all bolts/mountings with wd40 in preparation. As i said in my first post - i have checked everywhere for more info - but most people manage to trace the fault to relays, or more luckily the car just magically starts the next time they try it, so no real info on fitting or prices. thanks again to everyone who responded so far.

Been a few years since I bought one but as far as I can remember it was around £90 ish. Like you, I'd expect it to come in south of £100.

Not sure if the pump is the same as a wedge but I renewed mine this winter, part number was (EFI Fuel Pump LUCAS/BOSCH) 73202A. I purchased my off ebay, about £65
