I am surprised that no one else has posted about this, but I would like to wish Joe a speedy recovery. If youre reading this Joe, I hope that you arent at work trying to catch-up!

I take it from this that Joe isn't too well?
Worked on both my Omega watches and couldn't recommend him enough.

Hope he's OK.

I wasn't aware of this but wish him a speedy recovery. Joe is my go-to-man for any work required on my watches.

Ahh that makes sense, haven't heard back from him after a recent enquiry.

He did a great job on a bunch of watches for me recently that others said couldn't be fixed.

Hope all is well & he makes a speedy recovery

Hey, guys thanks for the wishes biggrin

Been far too long since I've logged in here (have browsed now and then) thanks to feeling permanently exhausted by the time I get home. Hopefully recent events will encourage me to change that!

To anyone I've missed emails from, I'm really sorry but I get so much spam that, if I miss a day checking, the chance of finding any real messages by the time I log on again is next to zero. They often pop up again a few weeks later when I find time to empty my deleted folder.

As far as the heart attack goes, I was lucky - blockage was in my LAD which, apparently, can be really nasty but I've got away with one stent, minimal damage, and a timely reminder to NOT ignore things my body's telling me (tiredness, increasing breathlessness and so on). Would like to pass that advice on to any of you who might experience the same - do NOT just assume it's pressures of work, especially if it doesn't ease up at all when you have time off! Allowed to drive again from tomorrow and starting rehab in the gym on Thursday, so it's all good from here on smile

I'll be going into work for a couple of weeks with the doors shut and the phone off to give me a chance to catch up - I actually find it pretty relaxing just getting on with the work uninterrupted. That way, when we re-open, there should be less stress all round. I'll also be rearranging work hours to give a little more time for relaxation - hopefully including popping in here more than I have been!

Finally, thanks again for the wishes & the &*^^$%£ haven't got me yet biggrin

Glad to hear you are on the mend Joe, really enjoy reading your blogs and seeing what you do.
I was going to ask you to service my Seamater as it needs a battery but I will not bother you at this time, it can either wait or I will get someonenlocal to do it for me

Thanks smile

Batteries not a problem - one of the perks of self employment is that you have to either be sick really quickly or for a really long time. My insurance covers loss of earnings but only after a month & there's no way I'm sitting at home that long :P
