After the Armegeddon of yesterday, thought I'd start a happy thread.

Left home at 5.30, roof of, blast up to Gatwick for the train, cold ears when I got there but it's worth it to hear the noise echo in the multistory.

Sat opposite a stunning young lady, drifted off to sleep with thoughts that could cost me a divorce.

Walk across London Bridge in a very happy mood, behind the desk for 7.15, open the post and an invitation to a conference in Milan, all x's paid, and my pay.

Just now going for a stroll to Chubbies for a large bacon sarnie , three mugs of tea, and a few M lights.

Looking foward to a few weekend beers already.

No neg posts from me today !

I can't believe I am still home if this is what is happening out there today! What's the matter with me?

Out I go, then...

Happy Friday to all, oh, and don't forget to wish that well known pundit, CarZee, a Happy Birthday, he is a year more qualified for Meldrew status!

Friday day, ahh, that sigh if relief as I know the weekend is here.

and what a start to the day, a nice coffee at the station, a seat on the train, a bacon role at Marylebone Station, at my desk for 7:30 (god I am mad), and the pleasent surprise, only 89 e-mails to read, yipee. That we teach me to have a day off.

Have fun folks.

Well, I'm happy, got Friday and Monday on holiday
Today going to cruise 200 miles north through the highlands into Sutherland, sprinting Sat+Sun in the Tiv, and then gentle cruise back Monday.

Beat that!

Edited to say - but no PH for 4 days

Mmmmh, got a serious job offered yesterday.
Should I really start with regular work as an employee?

Who with Bodo?

Might be worth considering... get some experience with a respected blue-chip... then set up on your own?

Go to work Early - less traffic than normal.

Leave work early - Thrash Tiv to parents, get race car
drive to Brands (no room where I live). Curries / Beers Fri nite. Up late Sat Scrut at 12, two mid afternoon practices. Pick up Bird, more beer, no curry!, Wild Rumpy in tent, Up late Sunday,2 great races. Father brings Tiv to track for me to go home in - (he take racer home in one piece) - thats the plan ...................................

A German company, part of a US holding. I'd say it's a top employer: sauna and swimming pool for employees, top cuisine in the canteen. Worked there for the last nine weeks, and boss asked me if I could imagine being a working student in their dept. for serious money.

But student life is so sweet
Hang on - IIRC, I started studies to work one day - think I'll take the chance.

Bodo - got for it mate!

Opportunities are hard to come by these days - especially ones like this, and you've virtually been head-hunted!

Go for it!

... and fit birds in the R&D dept.

I seriously considering that one, at least it'll be good for spying around and get experience or my CV, when I apply for a job at Weissach

This isn't joke.

Please refrain from these off hand comments, you've obviously no idea how long it take to clean a frying pan after you've tried to fry muesli

doesn't taste very nice either
