I need to connect a netgear outdoor antenna with (I think) an sma (female) connector on it to a Linksys access point that I gather has an RP-TNC connector on it.

Maplin sell what I think may work [link]

Does anybody know any different and maybe a better supplier?

Hi,

I would think it unusal for an out door antenna to have an SMA plug on it though I could be wrong, normally the antennas would have a female N-Type.

The reverse TNC connector looks right for Linksys kit though - all my linksys kit uses these.

Are you actually mounting the antenna out side? If so these pig tail connectors are usually pretty short.

www.solwise.co.uk/wireless-cable.htm have quite a selection and are a bit cheaper than Maplin.

Worth giving them a call if you are unsure, they are extremely helpful and knowledgable in these matters.
