First time to stop on Motorway

I had to stop on the morotway for the first time today, my mirror glass came unstuck and was left dangling by the wires, luckily didnt scratch paint, well embarrasing seeing all pass me who i have just passed. Better than leaving it to do damage anyway. Time to buy some new sticky pads i think
Years ago I had a very old, very sh*t 911. It was Guards Red and I loved it.
So one day I drive from where I was living in Cardiff to the firm I worked for's offices in Hayes. I work all day and then I start the drive back.
Somewhere near Slough the car starts coughing and spluttering and, sure enough, I have to pull over onto the hard shoulder.
I'm listening to the radio and its banging on about the the traffic on the M4. So a helicopter happens to be flying above - I think nothing of it as I wait for the RAC to come get me started again.
And on the radio: "There's a car broken down and on the hard shoulder near Slough. People are slowing down to take a look so do be careful. Oh...and its a PORSCHE. Well. No sympathy..etc etc".
I look up at the sky and shrug. Ah well....
