911T perfect car for the next 6 months!!
Discussion
Just taken delivery of my 911T.
GT3 cleaned and placed in the garage, I don't think it will be coming out again until the RS track day next March.
But, got to say very impressed with the 911T, the torque and the manual gearbox go together well, it is definitely a better gearbox than the normal cars and feels sporty with the shorter throw.
I think these cars are going to be the collectors cars, after the GT cars, from the 911 range.
It is well finished internally and looks good in the bright red and yellow cars with matching stitching, Michelin 4S tyres ideal for these cooler conditions.
Sunday morning drives back on!!

Guys! Does it alway have to come down to Depreciation! The guy obviously Holds the GT3 in high regard, and so he should, having it tucked up in the garage after enjoying it in the finer months, Fair play to him, not everyone cares about if our Porsche’s loose money. I have to say that I’m finding it totally ridiculous all the posts and threads regarding values.
OP.. I am half tempted to get a T to hack around in the winter with some winter tyres.

It’s pretty much perfect most of the time...
I’ve got a manual, four seats, T interior and RWS. Obvs no sunroof
All the small changes add up to a wonderful car. Those haters who reckon it’s just a Carrera with door pulls are wrong IMO
Not sure it’s a collectors car but well worth consideration over a Carrera, Carrera S or GTS
Mine will be out giving me funtimes for the winter

Yellow, no back seats and manual, I will put some pictures up tomorrow.
Especially of the interior, yellow stitching and yellow stitching in the seats, make it look a bit classier/special.
Secondly, depreciation, there will be no depreciation in my mind.
Firstly it won't loose 15k in six months, as suggested by someone, who thinks that the 911T will go down 15K in six months but a GT3 will go up 15K?
As apposed to putting another 6k miles on my GT3 in not enjoyable conditions, because that extra milage and the £1200 for the winter tyres will mean my GT3 will loose 10K in depreciation. Which is all you seem interested in, by the way, I asked the dealer if they wanted to buy my car, not that I had any intention of selling it. They offered me list, what I paid for it, 132K, which I thought was OK. But I know a lot of you think it should be worth a lot more.
Finally, if I had not put the GT3 in the garage, I had a feeling I might be doing a Chris Harris over the next week!! As Cup 2 tyres are not getting any temperature in to them, which over emphasises the understeer and does not make the car enjoyable to drive.
At 85K it feels a bargain and I might even try a trip to Spain in it before Christmas.

If you read the T thread it's quite refreshing.
The owners seem a much happier and contented lot, enjoying driving their cars and not endlessly discussing their values!
Appreciating or non depreciating cars seem to be paralysing their owners to a certain extent.
Its an endless circle of pdk v manual v touring v numbers.
