Parking note on Police car.

Man leaves note on police car attending an emergency that had parked in his private parking space. While I think it's a stupid thing to do, I have some sympathy. I'm sure if the driver parked elsewhere and received a penalty that that would not be waived because he was indirectly assisting with the emergency. When he left the note he didn't know it was an emergency, assuming no blue lights etc.

The police could have been there for any number of police reasons along with covering fire, nhs and social services when they’re unable to resource so who knows why it was there. Idiots like this one are typical of what seems to be large parts of society. Although you’ve got to admire them for backing it up when asked by the officer. Most would hide away and deny it.
Suspected assault? life threatening...…..? Sounds serious, certainly more newsworthy than some note left by an old git on a cop car. Wonder if the actual life threatening incident made the local news.?
Or are they bigging it up to try to get another "hard working public servant getting disrespectful note from MOP about s
t parking" story, like the ambulance case recently?
If it were my space they parked in, i'd not care one bit, but if someone else did care, and it was their private parking spot, and they feel they need to leave a note, that's their prerogative. The cops should suck it up, mutter under their breath and get on with the job, and not plaster it all over Facebook. It is not an abusive note, and if they are so precious that it upsets them, they should hang up their truncheons and go work in the Florists.

Are you sure you wouldn't be bothered if the Police parked in your space? - Because you seem to be getting seriously het up about them posting about what happened on Facebook!4rephill said:

On PH, when there is a thread about some person blocking a driveway, or even in someone's drive, there's plenty of people advising to drag it into the road and call the cops, dogs
t on the doorhandles etc. A note is reasonable, or a quiet word, and copper or not, the same applies. They are citizens the same as you and I. For all you and I know, this guy may have people in his space 3 times a day, and he may be well pissed off with it, or he may just be a nob. But just like the Ambulance guys who were feigning distress and trauma after a perfectly polite note was left for them, these officers seem to be trying to make far more of this than it warrants. Its a note. if it upset them, they're precious in the extreme.

No Picture of how the police car was parked. This would tell the story, was it parked in a rush/emergency or was it reversed in all neat and tidy.
Saw a police car the other day parked badly just up the road from a chip shop. They were inside getting food,I know they may get called away at any time but they could have actually parked closer and better. I watched it all they couldnt be bothered to turn around and just dumped the car further up than they needed to .
They dont do themselves any favours when it comes to public PR. Also the police are now seen as a soft touch and the public are less affraid to call out their actions.
