Can anyone tell me which way round the removeable top goes. As I have never seen a wedge with a roof on yet. There is a small taper on the edge that meets the door glass. Small end forwards or not.........cheers

On my 400 the leading edge i.e attaching to the windscreen, has a slight wrap around at each end to join the windscreen uprights.

Is there a rivet in the top? If so, that goes to the front. Failing that, if there are seals (arf, arf) the bits that extend past the end goes to the front.

Edited to add, Steve, my 400 also but my A reg 350 had a top that was very easy to get the wrong way around, hence the rivet. Guess they progressed with design in time.

Yep, that was a neat development for the 400 series only, helps with waterproofing as well. Otherwise stick with the rivet approach. J

On mine (350) there is a slight curve to the leading edge. The rear is flat. I believe on some of them, the distance between the lugs is slightly different.

On mine, a piece of weatherstripping on the front right corner extends an extra 2-3". Way too handy to trim. I thought they all did that.
