Online Retailers

I woke up this morning to find a surprise on my doormat.

Turns out I have received the new Dan Cruickshank book "Around the world in 80 treasures".

Thing is, inside the box with the book is the invoice. Fair play you may think, somebody bought me a gift. But no. The delivery/payment/card address is totally incorrect on the invoice, London, when im in Plymouth!!

Somebody must have had some crossed wires..

Can't say who the online retailer was, but let's just say it's namesake is a rather large rainforest.

Has anybody else had such strange/disturbing things happen to them from online retailers?

Ya, in frequently things go wrong, you have a few optiosn.

Phone em up and tell them, then they can either give you the book, or collect within 1 month or its yours.

Or dont tell them and they have 6 months to collect or its yours.

I think Luca got confused with the well known Smith's Rainforest of Kew!

You should contact them tbh - somebody might be fighting them for non-delivery of their book.

Yup, that was the first thing i did! i would hate something like that to happen to me, so i will do all i can to resolve the situation.

Its namesakes also include at least two cars and a moped. Perhaps those would have been more likely catches on this forum?
