Anyone else playing or is it just me? biggrin

I've only had a little go so far due to having to go out and do real work but so far it looks great!

Has anyone sussed out a money cheat for PS4 yet? I've seen the one about multiplayer stuff but I don't go on PS Network so can't do it! Hopefully there will be a Mod soon! biggrin

Guilty, although on xbox.

I'm assuming there will be a 'Lizard' money box at some point soon. I, too, never enjoyed the grinding aspect. I just want to buy the things I want to buy and farm to my hearts content smile

It does look prettier than the previous, but the invert Y camera only works for walking around, rather than in cab/driving, so I'm patiently waiting for that to be sorted before I really get into it, as I can't get on with normal camera views.

The cheap old Fiat tractor is a bargain biggrin

After 300 hours on FS17 ( maybe I should get a job on a real farm!) I'm a little disappointed at how buggy Fs19 is.

I'm on Xbox also.

I like to set it up as hard as possible and really grind it to make money to buy the bigger fields/tractors.

Looking forward to some patches and MODs.

I only got into FS17 this year, and only really enjoyed the smaller, British maps and a vast array of mods, so much as got a day one copy of the game, I'm in no hurry. The good stuff with come and it'll be a better game for it - but yes, it was a bit laggy and the controls need some work.

I had it pre ordered for ages and had a plan... then found there aren't any solar panels and no wind turbines so that was my money making scheme scuppered!

I've had a drive around the Europe map, there's a toilet in the castle! biggrin Love the river and the boats, very like Piesport where the German round of the WRC has some stages. I tried to see how far you can get the Fendt in to the river, quite a way and you can swim a bit! biggrin

Not sure what I'll do now as dicking around in whatever I fancied buying was part of the attraction! hehe

I’m playing. Not sure I like having to buy the animal pens. Also, it seems weird not having a home farm.

Or have I missed it?

I was quite looking forward to creating my own farm, tempted to leave it a while and wait for a money cheat mod.

That said I want to see the dog! biggrin (you have to go to 'Placeables' and but the kennel

You have to use your own machinery to do work for other farmers?

You can lease the required machinery needed for the tasks, but on one mission I completed, the trailer given was too large for the potatoe harvester. This made it a real faff to get the trailer under the pipe.

At the moment, the mission I have active is balling grass. I have cut it, dried it, merged it, baled and dropped off all the grass, but the mission counter is still only showing 99% complete. Maybe the half bale left in the bailer is what is need to complete this mission.

Didn’t know this was out yet. I still have the occasional play on 17.

Is there enough new stuff in 19 to warrant buying it if I’ve already got 17 ?

No. I mean, there's new stuff in game, but in terms of mods and UK maps, no.

Plenty of other stuff to be playing tho smile

Just had a couple more hours on 19...wouldn't rush to buy it if you're still enjoying 17.

Well the landscaping stuff is borked/complicated. I can’t level out the stuff that changes when you remove a placeable and have some pretty lumpy edges of fields.

Given there's now a couple of ways of getting a plentiful supply of cash, I had a few enjoyable hours on this on the weekend. The frame rate is still very sketchy at times and the resolution in the mirrors is laughable, but still - it's fun getting back into the farming swing. Just needs the seasons mod porting over.

I've not played FS19 yet, but was planning on buying it. I have 15 and 17.

The thing I liked about 15 was that the prices for crops were good, so you could sell a field of crops and get decent money for it. It meant the game was less of a grind without cheating cash.

In 17, the payout was less, so you seemed to have to grind a lot more and so it got boring quicker for me.

If you cheated the cash, then there is no point in the grind at all as you don't really progress. If you don't need to sell to make money, why bother planting and harvesting.

Is 19 enough of a change to be worth buying? Is there a terrain builder in 19?
