Its a shame the forground has come out a bit dark, i havent had a chance to get it into photoshop yet what do you think its my first go at a sunset

To me it looks all wrong because it is not level. As such my eye tends to dart around the picture.

Apologies for the hijack but yesterday evening was rather interesting for sunset shots.



Cropped from original under exposed by 1/3 stop and with high saturation. No other adjustments.

I've been after a pic from this location for quite a while . . . this is the view from Knockhill Racing Circuit in Fife (my local track) over the Stirling valley (where I live) . . . The big sticky up thing is the Wallace Monument . . .

Taken with the cam balanced on a fence post on a beanbag . . . much less hassle than a tripod ;-)

If it were me doing it (which it isn't) I would not have lightened the yellow so much and kept the shadows in. Sky looks much better now though.
