BlueRay/DVD that plays both US and UK DVDs

Is there a BlueRay/DVD machine that plays UK and American DVDs right out of the box?

My current DVD player won’t play US DVDs; I’ve tried all the usual hacks, but to no avail.

Loads, just search amazon or the like for "multiregion bluray". They start at about £100

Note that multi region Blu ray is a lot harder to find than DVD.

Thanks. Any recommendations of to which model? For example, Amazon has several different Region-Free BlueRay players with a 4+ star rating: how would you choose between these?

Have a look on multiregionmagic for prices and then pop over to whathifi to see which one gets a decent rating. I would choose a Panasonic BDT380.

To be honest there's going to be little to choose between players if you just want to watch a film on a regular sized TV.
More expensive players start to support things like SACD and might have added bells and whistles. Some 4K.

Which was £100 cheaper but I needed SACD & DVD-Audio compatibility. More than happy with it.
