Modwise brighter lights kit

Installed this today. Installation is easy, remove both headlamp bulbs, install new Phillips bright bulbs provided with the kit, plug the modwise wiring into the bulb, and the original light connector (from the car) into the other end of the modwise kit. Then run the long modwise starter motor cable through the engine bay (I took it out of the top of the rad and across the chassis) to the starter motor +ve cable.

Piccies (all taken with identical shutter and f-stop values). Please note that I have exposed for the filament, and not general lighting (it is a beautiful sunny day here).







The first two pics are without the wiring kit. You can see a noticeable difference in the amount of light spreading around inside the headlamp once the modwise kit is installed.

The pictures are taken from very slightly different angles, so its not an exact science, but I can assure you that visually they are now much brighter than before. The camera was a digi SLR, so I simply took each picture from the brightest perspective I could see.

Good job.
Did exactly the same about 12 months ago, but used Osram Silverstar bulbs as these had a marginally better write up.
Can see in the dark now which is crucial to a car that is used daily.
Another fine product by Mr Beer.
