I noticed a button on the side of my 13 v8v. It doesn’t seem to do anything when I press it. Anyone know what it’s for?

It’s to tilt the seat backrest forward

Passenger seat cannot change height only forward and backward. Only driver side can move up and down, not passengers side?

Did the car come with a users manual? I’d start there if I were you. There’s an amazing amount of information in there.

You should hear the release electronically, just like the glove box.

Have you checked in the glovebox?

To open the glovebox push the round button on the glovebox door biggrin

There is an App I installed “Aston Martin Owners Guide”, you are asked for the VIN or Model of car to log in and there is a full handbook plus other interesting sections.

Same problem both drivers and passengers LWS, any recommendations on a fix?

I haven't actually checked the fuse yet, need to locate that if someone can help also? I am thinking a blown fuse may affect other seat functions and not just this function in isolation.

Thanks
Jonny

I have the same problem with my drivers seat. I can hear the release noise when I push the button, but the seat won't move. The passenger seat works fine. I was assuming that the button operates a motor which causes a cable to move a lever that releases the seat. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Not 100% sure but I think the release mechanism are the 2 motors circled in red which operate the release catches via cables.
