991.2 GT3 Air Bag Warning Issue
Discussion
Hi there, I've finally had my letter from Porsche telling me they have a fix for the incorrect triggering of the warning signal to Vodafone suggesting that the airbag has gone off when it has'. The car is booked in for the fix next week, I believe that the bottom of the dash has to be removed to fit a replacement part? Has anyone had this done and if so, are they happy that the car goes back together perfectly post fix?
Assume that it will be fine, but if not, I may not bother.
Cheers

Had mine done a couple of weeks ago. I was told they remove the centre console and it's meant to be a 2 hour job although they wanted the car for the day. Everything now fine and not noticed anything out of place with the dash such as loose trim etc.
Don't forget to take both tracker cards as they might need to reprogram them. Not sure if that was just my car though as it became invisible to Vodafone.
