Yes, that seems crazy. Especially when other, more complex and specially moulder, hoses are cheaper.

Caterham prices are bizarre sometimes. That hose does seem ridiculously expensive.

However, I recently bought three specialized components to modify the belt tensioner on a Sigma engine, which I couldn't source anywhere else and they were less than £20 delivered.

And I needed a new rear wing after a little mishap, it came in the correct yellow gelcoat all ready to fit and was only £138 including VAT Definitely the cheapest accident repair I've had!

Its a real puzzle why some stuff looks real good value and other things look ridiculously expensive.
