Wireless Surround Sound Solution?

Similar to another thread, but I didn't want to hijack his....
I want to use my 'old' Denon surround sound amp, hard wired to the TV, but replace the wires from the amp to the 'old' speakers around the room with a wireless solution. Is this possible? Any kit recommendations?

You can move data with no wires, but not power. There are no such thing as wireless speakers. That’s a marketing term designed to confuse the general public!
A “Wireless Speaker” is actually an all in one music system that plugs into the mains, or has a battery.
Your amp outputs power in watts from normal speaker terminals.
You would need to convert this to digital data, send across the room, then receive and convert back to analog, then output to an amplifier located at each location, with both devises plugged into the mains....
....then run a short speaker cable to each of your old speakers.
So this is not practical and would be complicated and expensive, not to mention, poor quality most likely!
If your AV amp had pre-out sockets, it would still be complicated and possibly expensive, but would be possible, with some of these or similar...

As it is, I would suggest consulting an AV installer type person, who would advise the bast way to make it work. Most of the time there is an achievable answer, that is staring you in the face.
