It may be a simple question, but there is not a simple answer. You are trying to compare 2 completely different animals.
If you can expand a little as to what you're trying to compare exactly it may be a little easier.

No is the simple answer. Even though I like my TVR the Porsche is better engineered worth more and lasts longer with better fuel consumption. The performance is similar and the sounds although different are both thrilling. The heater is crap on the porsche though

One is a soulless, over-engineered box on wheels and the other is a fire breathing British monster.

i guess it comes down to taste the 911 in my opinion is horribly dated plus it has the w*nker reputation people will hate you
people shout and wave as you go by in the tvr nobody has ever keyed mine and i still think it has timeless looks
no contest for me but porsche build quality is good although it feels like a beetle

Ive gotta say as a Chimaera owner, its horses for courses!

My Brother would say the Porsche as he is into the whole engineering thing.. Much as he likes the Audi TT too for the same reason..

The Porsche is a fine car, sounds good, built very strongly (unless you have ceramic brakes which can be troublesome!), goes very fast etc.

The TVR is more fragile, but IMHO sounds amazing, is very individual and has fantastic design touches.. (The Dash, Door Opener under the mirror on mine! etc).

The Porsche is the choice of the Head and to me the TVR is the Choice of the heart!

If youre not expecting BMW toughness id go for the TVR any day!
